The Department of Business at Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Accounting to begin Fall 2023.  Candidates should have the ability to teach a variety of courses within the Accounting major in face-to-face and online formats while providing support for other majors in the Business department.  Candidates must be able to teach Accounting Principles, Tax Accounting, and other Accounting courses.  Additional duties include contributing to the ongoing development of the business programs at the College, including online teaching; student advising and mentoring; scholarly engagement; and coordinating the VITA program.

An appreciation for the environment of a liberal arts college is essential, as is a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Undergraduate teaching experience strongly preferred; commitment to supporting student success required. Master’s degree and CPA certification required.
