Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and capable person who has lawn care experience, basic maintenance and mechanical skills for residential and commercial properties. Must exhibit professionalism at all times and pays attention to quality and detail while performing  tasks. This is a seasonal opportunity that can last up to 6 months. 

Essential Responsibilities:

Lawn Care:

Perform lawn care and landscaping duties to maintain grounds of properties using hand or power tools or equipment. Operate vehicles, tractors, twin axle vehicles, mowers, trimmers, chains saws, snow blowers and snow plows to perform a variety of tasks while maintaining safety always.

This includes:

  • Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
  • Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
  • Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers.
  • Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers and foliage.

Maintenance:
Fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs on heating and air conditioning system.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proven maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work well under pressure and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
