Illinois College seeks instructor(s) for two courses in Marketing for the fall 2023 semester on campus:
- Consumer Behavior studies the factors affecting consumer behavior of individuals and organizations; provides an overview of explanations of consumption; and surveys consumer decision-making processes and their implications for marketing strategy.
- Marketing emphasizes the concepts of planning, organizing, controlling and decision making as they are applied to management of the marketing function. Attention is given to the marketing environment, consumer behavior, marketing research, product management, distribution, promotion and pricing policies.
Candidates should have an appreciation for the environment of a liberal arts college and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. College teaching experience preferred; commitment to supporting student success required. A Master’s degree in a business-related field required.
