Machine Operator

Machine Operator:

• Operates single needle, overlock, blind stitch, pleater, tacker, bonis machines and cutting fabrics.

• Use sewing machine to perform connected sewing operations in the manufacturing of materials.
• Self-evaluation of finished product for errors and present findings to the department supervisor.
• Operating single, double or automated sewing machines.
• Proficient knowledge of sewing machine functions and usage.
• Use physical / visual measurements of materials for production accuracy.
• Responsible for supervising own work environment and following safety rules and company procedures.
• Understand that production involves many processes and as such are ready and willing to work with other people to hasten production speed.
• Control machine functions to enhance output quality.
• Must be able to lift 30-50lbs
