Job Summary: 

As a Wellinks QA Tester you will create tests to identify software issues with our products before they are launched.  In this role, you will assess software quality through manual testing and will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.


  • Design test cases, create test scripts and test data, define test conditions for given requirements
  • Work with engineers to further develop effective test plans
  • Identify and analyze bugs and errors found during the testing phase
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Document findings to review with the engineering team
  • Manage risks associated with testing and take preventative actions when needed
  • Develop scalable and reliable tests and frameworks
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release testing

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Working knowledge of test management software
  • 1-3 years’ experience working as a QA Tester
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, C++, and XML
  • Experience in software development and testing
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Test Case Management software such as TestRail, Xray, etc.
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • MS in Computer Science or similar
  • Mobile application testing experience
  • Desire or experience in developing test automation scripts (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.)
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Ability to think outside the box and make recommendation to leaders
