POSITION SUMMARY

The Behavioral Health Centers (BHC) Assistant Director will advance the Agency's Mission and Strategic Plan as it relates to outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in the community. This position will have primary oversight and development responsibility for School Base Behavioral Health Services and Adult Behavioral Health services for one Behavioral Health Center site. This includes oversight and adherence or compliance of the Behavioral Health Center (BHC) and satellites to all regulatory agencies and requirements under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Center's Director. This position will act as Director of the BHC in the absence of the Director of the Behavioral Health Center site.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Clinical staff, specifically for the school base behavioral health programs and additional clinic staff as directed by the Behavioral Health Center Director
  • Maintain a small case load
  • Oversight of all school based behavioral health services and contracts, ensure agency compliance and maintain appropriate scope of practice (school social worker vs agency services)
  • Provide assistance with special projects related at the services delivered through the BHC's as requested by Behavioral Health Center Directors.
  • Assist in the onboard and off board of staff in the BHC's
  • Assist the Behavioral Health Center Director with the preparation and site visits for regulatory agencies/bodies, for example OMH, COA
  • Support the Behavioral Health Center Director with ensurance of daily compliance with licensing (OMH), billing (CMS) and other regulatory standards
  • Ensure staff credentialing is adhered to and communicated to appropriate support staff designated by the Executive Program Director and the Behavioral Health Center Director
  • Ensure staff are meeting billable expectations and compliance with paper work related to agency and regulatory bodies is adhered to
  • Provide administrative after hours on call support as part of the administration team for the Behavioral Health Centers

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a Masters degree and five to seven years post degree directly related experience.

 

CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

LCSW/LMHC is required; LCSW-R is preferred
