Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing or equivalent environment required
- Leadership experience managing safety professionals
- Current knowledge of state and federal applicable OSHA standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Capacity for fast-paced work and adaptability to change
- Self-directed learning and retention of training
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to TemperPack facilities as needed
- Prolonged standing for 8-12 hours
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
- Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
