We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain, such as Styrofoam coolers. Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Additionally, this role will also involve commodity management and contract lifecycle management to ensure compliance and maximize value from service and material supplier agreements.

Responsibilities across ClimaCell, GreenCell Foam & WaveKraft:

• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Weigh in on contracts and agreements negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
• Manage the contract lifecycle from creation to renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and resolve any issues or disputes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract management.

Skills & Experience:

• Problem solving ability and critical thinking skills required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment.

• Associates or Bachelors degree
• 2-5 years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Distribution, or related field experience,
