Description:
We are seeking a Machine Operator who will work on either our extruder, panel line, stacker or kraftloop encapsulation line while adhering to proper safety rules and regulations. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is based in Richmond, VA. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee machine production while demonstrating proper techniques and adherence to safety rules, to include safely operating the extruders, panel line, stacker or kraftloop flowwrapper.
- Execute and verify settings and tooling during changeovers from one recipe to another.
- Will be responsible for general equipment maintenance on the machine in which your assigned.
- Must clearly understand LOTO practices and be able to safely isolate all energy when working inside the machine or for general housekeeping and troubleshooting.
- Give functional directions to a small group of line workers while loading, unloading, and staging raw materials and finished product.
- Responsible for the general upkeep of the machine to which the operator is assigned.
- Responsible for meeting daily production targets and goals on the line in which the employee is assigned.
- Must be willing to train others on the equipment.
