Position Summary
Rendr 360 is a department of Rendr which provides centralized support to our medical practices. One of the programs at Rendr 360 is Rendr at Home, which is a primary care-based clinical program that extends health care access to our most vulnerable population in their homes. It is a house call service designed to support our site clinical team to offload patients that would not have visited their clinic due to poor ambulatory status and/or complex conditions.
Rendr is seeking for a Transportation Specialist who will want to join a fast-growing, innovative company and partner with our Rendr at Home providers to provide healthcare to our most vulnerable population. As a transportation specialist at Rendr, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including driving Physicians to and from patients’ homes for house call and transporting medical supplies. Transportation specialists will play a critical role in providing an excellent provider experience.
Essential Functions
- Drive physician partners from their residencies to all scheduled house call visits throughout the day
- Use personal vehicle and be reimbursed for the mileage
- Use smartphone-based messaging services to communicate with your team
- Observe temperatures of miniature refrigerator that stores vaccines when applicable
- Transport medical equipment/supplies to and from sites if necessary
- Comfortable with navigating the New York area (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Queens, Long Island) by car
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred
- Must be able to pass a Background and motor vehicle check
- Must have a valid state driver's license, current auto insurance policy and vehicle registration, and clean driving record required
- Must use own vehicle for transportation
- Must have a smart phone
- Consistently exhibit the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Strong understanding of technology and smart phone applications
- Must have excellent communication skills
