Sr. Process Tech- 3rd Shift

Must be able to work 9:30pm to 6:00am EST

• Troubleshooting process – foam, mold release, logistics, R & D applications, new product development, quoting, economics, and new processes.  Responsible for safety environmental and waste management
• Researches concepts that will reduce costs in existing methods, processes and material
• Provides recommendations for refining and improving chemical or assembly process
• Develop time studies on an as needed basis
• Provide technical assistance to the production floor
• Introduce production personnel to new processes
• Conducts process audits to ensure parameters are operating within specified range
• Robot programming on Milsco specific robot systems
• Inspect machinery and equipment to insure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
• Provide “on-call” troubleshooting and process control support for assigned production departments
• Lead scrap reduction and other cost reduction improvements utilizing alternative materials, tools, equipment, and operator methods by means of coordinating all shift process stakeholders
• Assist engineering in developing production methods that are efficient and safe
• Responsible for ongoing management of environmental aspects of assigned production processes e.g. Hazardous materials, Equipment ventilation, Overall operator safety, Recycling, Waste disposal
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in a Lean/Six Sigma environment
• Basic knowledge of PLC
• Basic knowledge of foam processing would be ideal
