Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Master’s degree, rabbinical ordination, or Ph.D. in Jewish Studies preferred
- Comfortable teaching a broad range of subjects, including Jewish thought, ethics, and history, as well as Tanakh and rabbinic literature, ideally in the original language
- Interest in teaching Modern Hebrew and Jewish Arts is a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- A commitment to student-centered, mastery-based teaching
- Must be proficient in English to carry out work as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include dexterity in operating office machines and supplies, including—but not limited to—computers, telephones, electronic calculators, copy machines, and printers. Stooping, bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods are common.
