Elevation Hotel and Spa located in Crested Butte, Colorado is hiring a full-time year- round Night Auditor. The Night Auditor has front desk responsibilities, like checking in and out guests, invoicing guests and third parties, granting customer requests, answering calls, and guaranteeing that all daytime responsibilities have been performed satisfactorily. It is important that night auditors are trustworthy, self-motivated, highly organized, have excellent people and customer service skills while ensuring the Safety and Security of our guests. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage
  • Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members
  • Must greet and check-in/ check-out guests with late arrivals/departures
  • Respond to guest in-house requests, complaints, and emergencies
  • Assist with guest parking and luggage after normal business hours
  • Will often be required to enter reservation fees for late arrivals, such as parking & pet fees
  • Process No Show/Cancellation reservations
  • Process billing invoices for the next day departing guests
  • Strong attention to detail to look for any mistakes in the entries made by the front desk clerks and rectify as needed
  • Will be trained in RMS and Boxer Central Systems
  • Provide guests with directions and general resort information as needed
  • Enter and Cancel Guest Reservations according to standard operational procedures
  • Ensure the safety of guests, employees and company assets through constant patrol and observation of all assigned areas and reporting activities in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures
  • Monitors and maintains control of facility access points and permitted areas of entry and responds to sounding alarms ensuring the safety of employees, guests and company assets; monitor visitor activities
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, while respectfully adhering to the dress code
  • Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor which may include assistance within hotel
  • Provide detailed pass downs to Management and team members and create cases as needed

 

Qualifications

 

Experience, Knowledge and Education:

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year prior hotel/resort front desk experience at one property preferred but willing to train right candidate
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask & strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with a positive team player attitude.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with many types of personalities in various circumstances
