JOB SUMMARYThe primary purpose is to ensure smooth and effective functioning of marketing, community events, and special projects. Employee will collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Market Managers to fulfill the overall vision of the bank.  This position will also assist with creating and/or developing a wide variety of marketing content, including, social media posts, print materials, advertising and more. 



  • Organize, develop, promote, engage, recruit, and track volunteer opportunities and hours for appropriate employees as requested
  • Organize, develop, promote, and track all bank events (community, fun committee, in-house events, etc.)
  • Track and help foresee all aspects of Duncan Fundraising Committees and events such as United Way and Relay for Life
  • Assist Branch Managers in organizing and promoting of their local community events
  • Responsible for updating information on FB&T Intranet webpages: Community, Fun Committee, and Banquet
  • Manage budget for community events, Fun Committee, and Banquet
  • Setup/cleanup of events (Fun Committee, Banquet, etc.)
  • Post event information and pictures on social media to engage and connect with the community.
  • Spotlight employees volunteering in action and share community posts and events that we sponsor. All post must be timely and grammatically correct 
  • Marketing Visa Reconciliation
  • Assist with creative advertising on social media, website, newspaper, radio, lobby plasma screens, yellow pages, on hold messages, billboards, banners, lobby signage, and school programs as needed
  • Assist in providing Marketing resources to all locations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Assist Marketing Manager with Products and Services Training, Customer Service Training, Service Excellence Training including, and Sales Training Program as needed.
  • Manage process throughout length of projects, including management of vendors.
  • Maintain departmental budget for Advertising, Marketing, Business Development, and Charitable Contributions for all locations.
  • Maintain inventory control of promotional items used for marketing purposes.
  • Prepare monthly budget reports for all markets.
  • Track and maintain overall inventory of all collateral.
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
  • Follow the direction of supervisor.
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.




  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred
  • 1 to 3 years previous banking experience preferred 
  • Marketing, sales, and advertising experience preferred
  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures
  • Proficient computer, 10 key, and typing skills.

      This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity
  • Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment)
  • Possible driving to various banking centers, client locations, seminar locations, and other sites as needed
