Public Relations Intern

 What You’ll Do:

The Public Relations Intern will report to the Director of Public Relations and will be responsible for producing content (written, visual, and social media focused) featuring some of Participate Learning’s most important programs.  Intern also would have the opportunity to develop content for media releases, Participate Learning website, and social media channels.  

• Assist events to gather information for content creation

• Create visual or written content 

• Other duties as assigned 

Hours: 40 hours/week

Location: Internship will be performed both remote and onsite in our Chapel Hill office, and the candidate should live in a reasonable commuting distance. There will be some required travel to different locations in NC and VA.  

Experience You Bring:

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, Education, or related field preferred
