Notre Dame High School, San Jose is the center for womens leadership in Silicon Valley and has provided an exceptional Catholic college preparatory education for young women since 1851. The school's mission is guided by the teachings of Saint Julie Billiart, the foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, with a strong focus on social justice to create lifelong learners, spiritual seekers, justice advocates and community leaders. The Notre Dame Athletic Program
Notre Dame High School Athletics provides our student athletes with an opportunity to develop as individuals and members of the community. We offer 10 competitive interscholastic sports over three seasons and compete in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) and Central Coast Section (CCS).
The following athletic head coaches are needed for our 2023-2024 sports season:
- Golf Coach
- Volleyball Coach
- Tennis Coach
- Cross Country Coach
- Basketball Coach
- Soccer Coach
- Lacrosse Coach
- Track and Field Coach
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and train student-athletes in all aspects of sport
- Develop and implement basic principles surrounding the fundamentals of sport
- Train and monitor student use of equipment
- Inventory and properly maintain all equipment
- Oversee transportation of student-athletes to and from competition with the use of school provided vans or parent carpool
- Be able to work evening, weekends, and travel across the greater Bay Area
- Maintain detailed and accurate files
- Effectively and positively communicate to athletes, parents, administration, and school community
- Attend all mandatory athletic department and league meetings including season ending Awards Night
