We are seeking a driver to transport our own inventory of heavy construction and power generation equipment that exceeds 26,001 lbs. Central Power Systems & Services has our own (manual transmission/day cab) truck & a fleet of heavy diesel technicians to keep you moving. 


  • Safely drive and operate trucks.
  • Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
  • Pre/post-inspect truck.
  • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
  • Load and unload cargo.
  • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
  • Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Able to pass random drug tests.
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
  • Listening and verbal communication skills
  • Dependability
  • Clean record in the FMCSA Clearinghouse

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 21 years or older
  • CDL – Class A unrestricted
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred.
  • At least six months of OTR experience
