Minimum Education/Experience Required:
- Current licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse required.
- Minimum two years of experience in a medical/surgical environment required.
- Some ambulatory experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required will obtain during hospital orientation.
- Certification as a Diabetes Educator preferred.
- Maintains compliance in RQI required.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:
- Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, color vision and near visual acuity.
- Review of the Diabetes Education Center policy and procedures before staffing the unit.
Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
