SUMMARY
JOB DUTIES
Reporting to the CFO, the Grants / Proposal Manager supports the mission of CRNA by
providing grant coordination, identification of grant opportunities, management of grant writing
process, and on an as needed basis, grant/proposal writing. Additionally, this position will enhance
CRNA’s grant management process, which will incorporate developing a collection system for
grant documentation, grant reporting capabilities, and issuing a grant program evaluation that
will ensure the long-term sustainability of CRNA’s grant program. The Grants / Proposal
Manager will collaborate with members of the organization to ensure that the preparation,
documentation, and grant application/reporting deadlines are met.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Researches and identifies mission-aligned grant funding opportunities to develop new and sustain existing programs. Monitors professional journals, follows digital media, and attends relevant workshops and conferences to stay abreast of best practices in program fields for development purposes.
- Collect and evaluate information regarding current programs, clinical outcomes, budgets, community needs assessments, demographic data, and feedback from organization stakeholders to fashion comprehensive grant applications and responses to requests for proposals.
- Administrates the Grant management process/software.
- Manages the grant writing process and ensures that the grant submissions meet CRNA standards. The grant proposal will include large, high-quality federal, state, local grant applications and renewals and other funding sources; guides the timely submission of grant(s)/proposals ensuring adherence to application guidelines.
- Prepares and presents ad hoc reports on grant statistics and other requested topics to the CFO.
- Maintains records electronically and in paper files, including final submission packets, grant tracking and reporting.
- Maintains and implements funding calendar activities
- Act as an organizational resource for grant requirements.
