SUMMARY
The HR Recruiter performs professional work involved in the recruitment, screening, referring and placement of applicants into vacant staff positions. The HR Recruiter must have a good understanding of where and how to locate candidates. The HR Recruiter will move chosen candidates on to the next step in the hiring process. Set up interview appointments between the chosen candidates if requested by the hiring manager. The HR Recruiter will conduct reference checks by verifying employment information and contacting the professional and personal contacts provided by the candidate. The HR Recruiter will serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations. The HR recruiter is ultimately responsible for the securing of qualified candidates and the successful onboarding and hiring of NET staff.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling administrative duties and recordkeeping
  • Sourcing potential candidates from various online channels
  • Screen incoming resumes and application for all prospective applicants.
  • Ensure all applicants are screened and dispositioned within 48 hours of received application.
  • Disposition all candidates within the applicant tracking system within 48 hours.
  • Pre-screen candidates and Interview candidates (via phone, video, and in-person)if requested by program leadership; and disposition all pre-screens and conducted interviews.
  • Provide qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.
  • Participate in weekly recruitment meetings with assigned managers to identify needs, challenges, and problem solve.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs, and strategic thinking about qualified applicant pools.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Facilitate all new hires and help them onboard: including required clearances, references, and needed verifications.
  • Communicate all challenges with onboarding applicants to hiring managers as per established onboarding process.
  • Ensure that all required onboarding documents are complete and accurately entered Paycom (HRIS)
  • Sign off on onboarding document checklist to confirm

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience HR Recruiter or similar role in relevant industry environment.
  • Experience with Paycom’s Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases preferred
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Understanding of referral programs
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, including city, county, state, and federal laws for staff onboarding
  • Available to work on site 2-3 days per week 9-5
