Resort/Hospitality – You are a creative designer familiar with hospitality brand standards and FF&E development. You are experienced in collaborating with internal architects and designers on large-scale hotel projects.

 

Senior Project Managers provide leadership in support of, and have ultimate responsibility for, project success for multiple medium to large-sized projects of broad scope and high complexity (significant size and dollar value, scheduling or budgetary challenges, contract terms and liability, design and finish levels, high number of stakeholders and consultants involved). They work mostly independently and with little support of the PIC. They create the project work plan, including scope definition, staffing, construction budget analysis, client and consultant contracts, documentation of client goals and expectations, internal and consultant team management, fee proposals, additional services requests when appropriate, and they monitor project profitability. Engages and communicates proactively with all project stakeholders in a timely manner, including the client, user groups, internal, and external team members, to ensure project goals and objectives are understood and achieved in a coordinated manner. Senior Project Managers exhibit leadership both within OZ and outside of OZ to achieve project goals on behalf of the client, OZ, and our staff. They serve as a resource to the team and monitor project progress regularly, adjusting the plans as necessary, to ensure all project goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related degree from an accredited program
  • 15+ years of architecture experience with various project types, sizes and budgets
  • Management experience with urban-living or hospitality project types
  • Experience supervising junior-level staff and leading project teams
  • Has proven client-focused service skills
  • Demonstrates high competency in conventional architectural principles, code and practices regarding both design and technical issues and in developing a team
  • Proficiency in Office Suite, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Revit
  • Enthusiasm and determination to contribute to OZ’s staff development, teamwork, and culture
  • Registered Architect preferred
  • Ability to travel to job sites, client and/or agency meetings, and other project related locations

Salary: $110,000-125,000 depending on knowledge, skills, and experience
