Description

Open position in all Coegi office locations including Kansas City, MO, Columbia, MO, St. Louis MO, and Minneapolis, MN; Hybrid work schedule: in office/remote.

 

Coegi’s Content Strategist supports Coegi’s content marketing execution to promote Coegi’s thought leadership. This individual will be a writing guru, well-versed in tailoring content research, structure, editing, and persuasiveness based on target readership.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Spearheads written content practice, supporting:
    • Blog POV and case study writing and editing
    • Distribution of thought leadership in industry and vertical publications
    • New business one-sheeters, RFIs and RFPs
  • Supports new business development through:
    • Develop prospect specific content to increase conversion rate
    • Support research, strategy development for proposals
  • PR strategy and oversight:
    • Identify new publication partners
    • Edit content submissions from Coegi’s subject matter experts
    • Support award application content development in conjunction with brand strategist
  • Optimize existing content for SEO:
    • Create and act on a system of continuous improvement for content ranking and audience relevance
  • Monitoring digital and industry trends
    • Work with innovation to develop LinkedIn articles speaking to latest digital developments

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years* of marketing experience, with expertise in digital
  • Agency experience preferred but not required
  • Content writing and editing experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with innate ability to bring the Coegi story to life for current and prospective clients
  • Ability to handle the strategy and execution of multiple projects
  • Self-starter mentality, bringing new ideas to the table for self, department, and organization wide improvement and takes ownership over bringing from idea to activation
  • Deep passion for innovating, test and learning, and using data and analytics to inform brand changes
  • Commitment to upholding and celebrating Coegis vision, mission and values

Education:

  • Bachelors degree (marketing, advertising, communications, business) or equivalent professional experience

 

*Senior title considered for those with longer tenure and relevant professional experience
