Label Coordinator

We are seeking long-term growth and career-minded rock stars to join our team!  American Trading International, Inc. (ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets.  ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.  We are looking for a Label Coordinator to develop private label brand packaging working with manufacturers, customers, and printers from around the globe. 

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate with the Sales department to gather required information to initiate the label development process and manage all label information such as: product specs, dyeline, white label product picture, packaging options, order number, printer setup fees, artwork high resolution file, digital printing proof, product ingredients breakdown per customer’s requirement, and packer’s approval on the final label.
• Work closely with Marketing team to finalize the packaging option and label information to include selling point, product applications, artwork development with the customer or ATI graphic designer, customer’s final approval on the label, printing proof with the printers.
• Collaborate with graphic designer to develop visuals for labels.
• Ensure that the graphics or other label artwork are properly prepared and that technical specifications are clear to the press operator.
• Develop product mockups.
• Ensure label printing is moving forward in the process and assist with supporting as needed.

What you’ll bring:

• Positive and collaborative attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred.
• Design software experience, such as InDesign, xPress, or Illustrator; Photoshop & MS Office is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of pre-press, proofing systems, and packaging substrates.
• Fundamental understanding of project management software and/or related technology.
• Ability to execute multiple projects and assignments with high attention to detail and point out urgent issues to the supervisor directly. 
• Excellent communication and proofreading skills; grammar and punctuation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.

What you’ll be paid:

Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $26.45 - $28.85 per hour.
