POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for all activities required for the funding of mortgage loans and the subsequent shipping of loans to investors for purchase.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Responsible for management of the funding pipeline to advise management of upcoming fundings.

  • Receive and thoroughly review all closing documents received from the Settlement Agent utilizing company processes and checklists.

  • Review all Settlement Statement data to ensure correct loan settlement.

  • Maintain contact with the Settlement Agent to review any outstanding conditions required from escrow and to balance the funding wire amount.

  • Partner with loan officers as the primary liaison between borrowers, their representatives, attorneys, title companies, insurance representatives, and other parties tied to the home lending transaction.

  • Responsible for ensuring all terms of the loan are incorporated in the documents, closing conditions are met, and loans are closed within appropriate timeframes and within company required standards.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of commercial banking experience.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of credit and credit quality.

  • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.

  • Excellent internal customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to make one-on-one and group presentations.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required.

  • Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software. Solid word processing and computer database skills with accurate keyboarding at 60+ wpm.
