Manage all aspects of manufacturing production; ensure safety of equipment and operating procedures; supervise a team of Supervisors, Area Managers, and/or Engineers with responsibilities for a variety of production operations; meet production schedules and customer requirements
Identify process improvement initiatives and execute projects to improve safety, quality, cost and productivity
Employ Lean and Six Sigma concepts and practices; conduct Kaizen events; drive 5S activities and visual management
Coordinate with other plant departments including: Engineering, Quality, Sales, Shipping and Human Resources to ensure customer needs are met
Support Quality Control circle activities, corrective action reviews and root cause analyses
Track and report on production KPIs which may include: safety, headcounts, efficiency, schedule attainment, OEE, productivity, production volumes, downtime, on time delivery etc.; Analyze data and make recommendations for improvement

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related field required
Seven (7) years of experience in Operations; including supervision
Understand business financial reports and manufacturing impacts on financials
Strong emphasis on state and local safety regulations, safety compliance and training
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
