Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift, Mondays-Thursdays, 3:00pm to 1:00am

The Team: 
This role is a part of the Inspection/Solderer team here on the production floor.

The Role: 
Inspection includes verifying circuit boards, solder joints, correct component placement and being able to identify any other possible defects that affects form, fit or function of an electronic assembly.  Soldering includes soldering components onto the circuit boards following the manufacturing instructions. This position may also include operating the selective solder machine.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will spend your time:

  • Inspecting boards to ensure the various parts were placed securely and correctly
  • Soldering various parts on circuit boards
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Perform machine operations as needed
  • Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Complete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
  • Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools
  • May rotate to various workstations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands: 

  • Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time worked
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked. 
  • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking
