Description

Kennelwood Pet Resorts is looking for a Pet Transportation Driver to be a part of a growing industry leader pet care business.  As a Pet Transportation driver you will be responsible for delivering pets, inner office mail, and company event items to the Kennelwood Pet Resort locations.  You are an energetic applicant that loves animals and possesses a strong work ethic, great people skills and a desire to excel.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Able to drive in all weather conditions
  • Transport pets while ensuring pet safety
  • Ensure food and belongings are taken with pets
  • Daily interoffice mail delivery between Kennelwood facilities
  • Drop off-pick up items at different locations
  • Home pick ups and drop offs
  • Maintain a professional manner
  • Keep Kennelwood vehicle clean
  • Ensure oil changes are completed every 3,000 miles and check tires

 

Qualifications:

  • Possess or willing to obtain a Class E driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • A passion for animals
  • Comfortable working around pet hair and dander
  • Ability to walk dogs of all sizes on leashes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
  • Working Conditions - Primarily driving a company vehicle
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
