SUMMARY:

The Part Time A-Team member contributes to a positive guest experience for Creation Museum  guests. This is accomplished by being knowledgeable in Museum operation and processes, and in assisting department leadership as they manage day to day operations. An A-Team member is expected to demonstrate a high-level of excellence in professionalism and guest services across the operation. This position has a career path that will develop your spiritual and professional growth goals by supporting multiple projects in a God-honoring fashion to achieve great-results by tackling challenges while having fun along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:     

  • Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
  • Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
  • Model the behavior and culture of a Creation Museum team member
  • Execute exceptional guest service, as outlined in all formalized department training experience
  • Assist with guest flow throughout the attraction
  • Serve all departments by attending to daily operational tasks
  • Assist with set up and break down of special events as needed
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff, actively monitoring potential slip and trip hazards
  • Maintain thorough understanding of evacuation protocol
  • Always display a servant attitude and humble spirit
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school Diploma preferred 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other productivity tools

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and priorities

  • High attention to detail, capable of proofreading your own work and the work of others

REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer service oriented, dedicated to high guest satisfaction levels

  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to anticipate needs and priorities

  • Basic math skills: accuracy in cash and financial transactions with guests

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

  • Must be able to stand and move about throughout the attraction for the entire length of shift

  • Bend and lift between 25 to 75 pounds

  • Must have a driver’s license

  • Must be at least 18 years-old
