This is a hybrid position which will cover many components of PlayCores business. The position is responsible for the organization, production and ongoing maintenance of a wide variety of marketing projects such as video, collateral, social media, graphic design, and trade show coordination, ensuring that all of the details are covered for trade shows from start to finish, dealing with complications as they arise. The position will also work on new product development including research, margin analysis and product launches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and manage all print and digital marketing tools, including catalogs, flyers, promotions, e-mail blasts, newsletters, social media, and web updates.
  2. Designing graphic interfaces and interactive media elements using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and similar image creation and photo editing software with appropriate knowledge design and image processing skills.
  3. Planning, organizing and coordinating product displays for each trade show that the company attends, including the gathering, packing and shipping needed for shows (literature, t.v.s signage, flags, show displays, etc.)
  4. Coordinating the inventory and fulfillment of collateral programs.
  5. Supporting development of consistent press releases and outbound communications including e-newsletter.
  6. Supporting development of advertisement and trade sponsorships.
  7. Coordinating lead generation activities with effective processes, campaigns and database management.
  8. Analyzing, editing, organizing, and compressing analog and digital audio and video content based on given requirements and time constraints.
  9. Monitoring and implementing Social Media tools, trends and applications to social media outlets, blogs and more, including content creation.
  10. Assisting in the identification of emerging digital media technologies and methodologies.
  11. Coordinate compelling branding, product, program and partnership information through print and online advertising, editorials, and website improvements to drive continued sales growth.
  12. Coordinate photoshoots as needed featuring our newest products, as well as, product identified that need new photography.
  13. Manage image library and new trends in online merchandising.
  14. Maintain website by keeping all information up-to-date, accurate and fresh, coordinate initiatives to increase SEO and lead generation.
  15. Support sales team by coordinating specialized selling tools, catalog pages, PowerPoint presentations and e-merchandising as needed for key customers
  16. Prepare and participate in strategic planning, margin management and cost containment
  17. Conduct investigative research on new product categories and competition
  18. Perform analysis of product sales data
  19. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in graphic design, project management
  • Experience in different types of Marketing communications (traditional, new media, guerilla and word of mouth)
  • Experience with media writing tools



Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Proficiency in writing, proofreading, and English punctuation.

Computer Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
  • Proficiency in Mac computer platform and software

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline- oriented environment
