RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain content, visuals, and functionality for all primary institutional sites
- Assist the Art Director in maintaining the visual identity of Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College by creating web tools that effectively communicate its desired message and supports the overall communication strategies, goals, and brand guidelines of the
- Exceptional development skills (WordPress (PHP), LESS, CSS, etc).
- Strong design and layout skills (focus on UI/UX, Responsiveness, and Information Architecture)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication
- Discipline to consistently apply and enforce style/brand
- Ability to respond professionally to direction, constructive critique and client
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work well under pressure to meet
- Ability to manage time and projects
BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of visual identity management and
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3+, LESS, WordPress (PHP), Javascript, Server and Database administration
- A clear understanding of UI/UX principles, mobile-first responsive design, and information architecture.
- Working knowledge of eCommerce systems and integration (WooCommerce/Revel)
- Metrics tracking and reporting (SEO, Analytics)
- Proficiency in Adobe CC Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat, or other creative and web
- Minimum of 3 years of work or internship experience in web development, UI/UX design, or related field.
