PRN Emergency Medicine Physician

Pagosa Springs Medical Center is looking for PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians.  Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or have extensive Emergency Medicine experience. PRN is coverage on an as-needed basis based on PSMC need and physician availability. PSMC will provide professional liability insurance coverage. Compensation is $175 per hour for day shifts and $180 per hour for night shifts. PSMC and physician each contribute 6% of earnings to a 401a Retirement subject to I.R.S. contribution and compensation limits and five-year vesting.  Voluntary participation in 457 plan. PSMC is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible employer. Pagosa Springs Medical Center is an EEO employer. The application window for this posting is anticipated to close on July 22, 2024.

• Colorado licensure (or eligible to apply for licensure) to practice as a Physician;
• Federal DEA registration;
• not sanctioned or excluded by Medicare/Medicaid;
• professional education, training, experience, and current competency;
• appropriate willingness and capability based on current attitude, mental/physical health;
• professional liability insurance coverage in the amounts of $1 million/$3 million (to be provided by PSMC for employed physicians); and, 
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or have extensive Emergency Medicine experience.
