What You'll Do

  • Develop the ability to lead your discipline and develop understanding of other disciplines
  • Prepare project deliverables with attention to detail
  • Understand and be able to read plans and specifications
  • Interact frequently with clients and other project team members
  • Estimate probable construction costs
  • Perform site visits and issue reports
  • Perform AutoCAD/Revit system design and documentation
  • Perform Lighting Design calculations and equipment selection
  • Develop skills for editing/writing specifications
  • Complete assigned work on time with limited detailed instructions
  • Implement the project quality management plan (QMP)

 

What You Bring

  • College Degree required, preferably in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Staff Lighting Designer or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of all phases of design, procedures and criteria to complete project from design to construction
  • Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extensive AutoCAD and Revit experience
  • Engineering, Lighting Design calculation and performance

 

What We Offer 

 

  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $69,500-$93,000 annual 
    • This position is eligible for time and a half overtime pay 

 

The base salary is one component of LUMA | PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At LUMA | PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents LUMA | PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
