We are seeking a scientist eager to apply their scientific knowledge and skills towards finding the best candidates to join our company. You will research talent and assist in the hiring process for scientific and administrative personnel. This position offers flexible remote and onsite work. The ideal candidate would be able to commit to this role for at least two years from the date of hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the process for engaging, evaluating and hiring top candidates to join our company 

  • Work with team leaders to develop job descriptions, identify candidates, and manage the candidate experience 

  • Develop and manage the inbound applicant pipeline and identify passive job seekers using a full range of sourcing/attraction tactics and resources 

  • Provide a pleasant experience for every candidate from resume intake to offer while evaluating skill level 

  • Drive the phone screen, in-person/virtual interview, reference check calls, and offer process  

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • BS/MS in a biological science and at least 3 years in-lab work experience in cell and molecular biology 

  • Deep scientific understanding of cell-based assays and molecular biology is required 

  • Experience with tissue culture, western blot, and DNA subcloning is required 

  • The successful candidate will have experience interviewing candidates, a warm personality, and be an excellent judge of character  

  • Ability to adapt to dynamic and evolving priorities 

  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to develop and maintain creative organizational systems for candidate tracking and analytics
