Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift, Mondays-Thursdays, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am

Position Status: Full-Time

The Team:
This role is a part of the Process Engineering team. The team works with Manufacturing Engineering and supports production.

 

The Role:
This position interfaces directly with Manufacturing Project Engineer and production to design and maintain the manufacturing process for fabrication of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.   

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will spend your time:    

  • Develop and improve process efficiencies for continuous improvement
  • Program computer-controlled assembly, soldering and inspection equipment
  • Create thermal profiles for soldering processes 
  • Research equipment and tooling needs for manufacturing 
  • Work to reduce cost and scrap
  • Troubleshoot production equipment and parameters 
  • Train production personnel to operate equipment to process specifications 
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment 
  • Perform other activities as assigned

  • 2-year degree or equivalent work history preferred 
  • Experience in circuit board assembly 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Ability to pass industry standard tests within 90 days of employment

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Frequent standing, bending and reaching
