Position Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating activities related to setting up daily operational priorities. This role will supervise a diverse team of full-time employees and temporary employees that will ensure the operations is successful in meeting all customer needs.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • Lead, coach and develop operational teams: Fulfillment, Receiving, Production, Print and Sales Ops
  • Map and design new and previously established workflows.  Identify gaps, and recommend/implement new processes
  • Manage day-to-day operational activities for three distribution centers
  • Conduct trainings, issue performance evaluations, and support building maintenance schedule
  • Provide leadership and direct infrastructure support to achieve best in class operating environment


  • Ensure component inventories are received and transferred to Production for assembly
  • Coordinate functions between shifts and manage daily handoffs
  • Plan and schedule transfer orders for pickup to contract manufacturers
  • Provide status updates for work in progress between shifts
  • Forecast staffing needs and equipment resource requirements that ensure operational success
  • Execute continuous process improvement to support lean supply chain initiatives
  • Maintain safety standards and identify/correct potential hazards and risks
  • Improve customer service through the reduction of order cycle times





  • Willingness and ability to work night shift
  • 3-5 years managerial experience
  • 3+ supervisory/management skills
  • Computer literacy –MS Office
  • Excellent decision analysis and prioritization skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to seek out creative solutions under tight time constraints

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is often required to walk; climb (stairs) or balance; and stoop. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently exposed to an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud. The associate is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment with precarious places and outside weather conditions.
