Description

The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (The Arc) supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live, work, and connect with their community.

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will facilitate a dynamic marketing strategy for The Arc and its related subsidiaries. The Marketing Communications Manager will work with the Digital and Visual Communications Managers to develop, and team lead a multi-channel communications program from concept to completion. This position will collaborate with and provide hands on communications support to key leaders and subject matter experts across the organization. In partnership with the President & CEO, the Marketing Communications Manager will act as a The Arc’s spokesperson.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a proven track record of successful creative project planning and execution in corporate communications, agency, and public and media relations. An excellent communicator and natural storyteller with strong business knowledge, the Marketing Communications Manager is someone who can quickly build trust and influence with leaders and collaborators at all levels.

Qualifications

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field, along with three years of marketing and organizational writing experience. A master’s degree is a plus. This position comes with a competitive total rewards package.
