Art Teacher - School at  Northeast - Schenectady

You will receive a $2,500 sign on bonus (half paid at 30 days and half paid at a year of service) 

POSITION SUMMARY

The School at Northeast is seeking an Art Teacher. This position is responsible to provide art education that follows the NYS standards to children grades K-12. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Maintain and organize art materials and equipment,
  • Provide therapeutic art instruction to individuals, small groups, and classrooms,
  • Provide leadership in a variety of school-wide art events and activities,
  • Work with school administration to deliver art experiences to students in a variety of school-wide venues on the agency campus,
  • Represent the school in Capital Region art events and activities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Masters/Bachelors degree in Art Education
  • NYS certification in Art Education
