American Academy (AA) has an opening for a general music teacher for the 2023-24 academic year. Music classes at American Academy include music history, music theory, and basic skills in vocal, instrumental, and dramatic performance. Extra-curricular programming opportunities may include drama, vocal ensembles, instrumental ensembles and dance. Classes are taught by a team of four music specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
- Teach American Academy's curriculum with fidelity.
- Uphold and model American Academy’s Manners and Character.
- Work as a positive member of the grade level team to provide an exceptional education.
- Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
- Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and administration.
- Timely upkeep of records including grades and assignments in Infinite Campus and updates on webpage.
Salary Range: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 ANNUALLY
