Job position: Infusion Registered Nurse
Essential Functions:

Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, antibiotics, symptom management and triage patients.

Provide and document professional nursing care.

Demonstrates competency in all aspects of chemotherapy administration, monoclonal antibody therapy, IV therapy, subcutaneous and intramuscular injection administration.

Knowledgeable and practice within the ONS guidelines during any adverse event while administering chemotherapy, i.e. chemotherapy spill incidents.

Provide education and follow-up care after patients have been released from chemotherapy.

Communicate effectively with physicians and other team members.

Other tasks as assigned by providers or Office Manager
Qualifications:

Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required

ONS chemotherapy / biotherapy certified required
-
2+ years of experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy preferred

Current NYS Registered Nurse License required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required

BLS or ACLS certification required

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
