Position Summary:

Responsible for designing and implementing an effective marketing and recruiting program to fill all training programs offered by the Non-Profit Leadership Institute of Greater Cincinnati (NLIGC).  THIS POSITION IS FOR A CONTRACTOR.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell and grow the Non-Profit Institute of Greater Cincinnati’s (NLIGC) brand and marketing outreach throughout Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas.
  • Recruit students for NLIGC’s signature programs (Connect, Learn, Advance, Excel). Includes communicating with and presenting program services to agency decision makers. Target local and statewide non-profits for participation.
    • Working with potential students (at all levels of a nonprofit organization, including executives) to help them understand how NLIGC programs fit with their development goals.
  • Execute marketing and recruiting efforts with Talbert House and OneSource Development Departments and staff.
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with key nonprofits that are a consistent source of students.
  • Provide logistic services to all programs as required: including providing teaching materials such as flip charts, helping with room setup, ordering, delivering, and setting up refreshments and lunches for programs such as monthly sessions of EXCEL, etc.
  • Works hours will vary week to week based on recruitment needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and flexibility
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly skilled in Office 365 applications, i.e. Outlook, Teams, Excel
  • Work independently and create relationships with area non-profits
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledge of various communication tools including social media, i.e. Constant Contact, LinkedIn
  • Travel locally in personal vehicle

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing Sales or related field or
  • 2 years equivalent experience in similar role
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for similar programs
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance

  • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent talking.
