Our Headquarters based in White Plains is seeking an Administrative Assistant  to support the Credit and Accounts Receivables Departments. 

 

Responsibilities for the Role:

  • Accumulate documents for processing of credit applications
  • Run reports for credit applications for review by Credit managers and analysts.
  • Process of tax credits and filing of exempt forms.
  • Sending of customer statements and invoices when required.
  • Analysis of customer accounts as directed by the supervisor.
  • Contact customers concerning issues with their accounts and follow through with timely corrective measures under the supervision of the AR and Credit Managers.
  • Reconcile accounts as needed under the direction of the AR and Credit Manager
  • Enter accounts receivable entry transactions, credits and invoices.
  • Setup new customer accounts in ERP once approved by the credit department.
  • Setup ship-to’s in ERP once approved by the credit department.
  • Process payments on customer accounts when necessary.
  • Apply payments for all receivable-related transactions as directed.
  • Maintain proficiency in data entry, computerized systems and other technologies as required.
  • You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.  Bachelors or Associate’s Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of job experience is preferred.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Superior organizational skills
  •  Able to perform business math.
  • Able to work independently with some direction
  •  Effective listening and good phone skills
  • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedure
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability

  • Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact
  • Able to multi-task

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Wage Range: $18 - $25/hour plus additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
