Assistant Store Managers are responsible for leading team members and the operation of the store in partnership with the store manager and senior leadership. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills to respond to the needs of customers and team members. You should be self-motivated and ready to assist the managers with any tasks that need to be executed to keep our facilities well-maintained and running smoothly. This position is a high-potential role that leads a store manager and area manager positions.

We are Looking For:

  • Previous experience or working knowledge of retail operations in any setting
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proficient with a calculator, computer, handheld devices and retail Point of Sale (POS) applications
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact with all team members, customers, vendors, and leadership
  • We are a 24-hour operation. Nights, days, weekends, and holidays are required
  • Someone with empathetic leadership qualities that inspire and motivate team members on any shift
  • A keen eye for detail when checking in vendors, handling cash and lottery
  • A drive to develop themselves and others


Job Description:

  • Completes Store Operational Requirements:
    By assisting the store manager in following up on work results, customer service, merchandising, food service and store cleanliness
  • Service Our Guests:
    By providing assistance; greeting guests when they enter the store; inviting the customer to return;
    maintaining a neat and clean appearance
  • Maintains Store Operations
    By initiating, coordinating and implementing programs, operational and personnel policies and procedures; maintaining sound inventories of company assets
  • Ensures a Clean and Inviting Experience
    By providing a safe and clean store environment for guests and employees
  • High school diploma required, must be at least 21 years old

    • College degree preferred

  • Previous experience leading teams; ideally in a retail environment
