Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Content Development, Digital on the planning and development of new digital products and on the update cycle for existing products.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Content Development, Digital to develop new functionality for existing TCM platforms and maintain and curate a backlist of proposed features.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with designers, engineers, and other project stakeholders on concepts, designs, and development of products and platforms.
  • Publish product resources to TCM platforms.
  • Lead the production of digital media (eBooks, audiobooks, and videos).
  • Participate in quality assurance and acceptance testing processes by testing, logging bugs and advocating for the user.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, instructional practices, and district implementation best practices for digital curriculum.
  • Stay knowledgeable with competitor and market research to inform the product landscape and opportunities and highlight key differentiators in the products.
  • Create, monitor, and meet milestones associated with digital products to ensure project success
  • Communicate the status and current state of projects to all stakeholders effectively
  • Organize and coordinate product assets efficiently.
  • Train and communicate with other departments on the use and capabilities of digital product.
  • Assist with questions and internal and external support for digital products as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of K–12 classroom and/or virtual teaching experience
  • Experience managing digital curriculum and resources in educational platforms and LMS at the school and/or district level
  • Working knowledge of various technologies used in the classroom (Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Zoom, Adobe products, Flipgrid, iMovie, See Saw, Nearpod, Audacity, etc.)
  • Experience with district-level digital product onboarding and implementation, a plus
  • Experience working in edtech, a plus
  • Knowledge of standards such as LTI, Thin Common Cartridge, a plus
  • Knowledge of development for iOS, a plus
  • Knowledge of GitHub and Amazon Web Services, a plus
  • Knowledge of java, JavaScript, html, and/or other coding languages, a plus
  • Knowledge of FERPA, COPPA, and WGAC 2.1 compliances, a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for extended periods of time; including at a computer
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
  • Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse

Work Conditions:

  • General office environment
