What You’ll Do: 

We are looking for temporary part-time employees that would help us greet our Ambassador teachers at the airport and to be the first to welcome them to the United States! These people will be able to commit to being at the RDU airport on the required schedule and able to travel to Virginia to greet teachers there for one weekend. 

• Prepare luggage tags for the Ambassador teachers and add to teacher’s luggage

• Keep track of the live flight tracking spreadsheet with arrivals, changes or delays

• Help Ambassador teachers with carry-ons and larger items if needed

• Contact shuttle service once all teachers have arrived and ready for pick-up

• Take pictures of the teachers to celebrate and capture the excitement

• Assist with communication to designated airline baggage claim desk if there is any lost luggage

The arrivals are scheduled to come in on Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts will range from 6:00 am to past midnight when the last flight arrives. The weekends we need this position for are listed below:

At the RDU Airport in NC:

Sunday, July 9th in NC; limited hours on Monday, July 10th

Saturday, July 29th in NC; limited hours on Sunday, July 30th

Saturday, August 5th in NC; limited hours on Sunday, August 6th

At VA Airport: Reagan National (DCA)

Saturday, July 22nd in VA; limited hours on Sunday 

Pay Rate: $25 per hour, parking expenses covered for airport parking. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the company for traveling out of state 

Experience You Bring:

• 1-2 years experience working in customer service, teaching, or working in a team setting

• Outgoing, friendly and energetic personality

• Age required is 18+ years or older

• Reliable transportation to be at your scheduled shift

• Flexibility with your weekends as flights can change
