ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
When acting as a Security Officer (Must be in full security officers uniform):
Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements. Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, count room and cash handling procedures.Maintains a constant surveillance throughout the Casino watching for irregularities or illegal gaming devices.Immediately reports suspicious or unusual activities to the proper Dept. Supervisor, Surveillance Officer or Security Director.Periodically checks perimeter and cash cage door.Delivers fills/credits from cage to gaming stations.Escorts all chips and cash transfers within the Casino.Collects and transports table game drop boxes to storage area.Assists in monitoring traffic as required.Maintains and controls access to restricted areas.Checks ID for possible underage customers.Responsible for opening outer door of ATM machine for fills.Provide security for Cash Cage and Count Room.Ensures the safety of guests and employees of the Hotel and Casino operation.Performs first aid, CPR and the use of the AED as required.Works with local police, fire or emergency medical teams as necessary.Protects Hotel and Casino assets.Accepts found property and tags for safekeeping, accepts found or confiscated drugs and tags for safekeeping.Assists in locating lost property, files report if not found.Fosters and maintains positive player/house relations. Accepts, records, and notifies management of guest or employee complaints.Removes individuals from the Hotel and Casino when directed by the General Manager or Security management. Makes citizens arrests for law violations, when required.Responsible for keeping Key Records and issuing sensitive keys.Patrols the Casino, Hotel and pool areas for undesirable guests. (SRC)Performs the functions of Security Dispatch/Surveillance or Bike Officer, if required.Handles all other Security functions as directed.
When acting as a Bicycle Officer:
Escort and provide perimeter safety for transfer of cash by armored service.Ensures the safety of guests and employees of the Hotel and Casino operation.Performs first aid, CPR, and the use of the AED, as required.Works with local police, fire and emergency medical teams as necessary.Accepts found property and tags for safe keeping.Assists in locating lost property. Files reports if not found.Fosters and maintains positive player/house relations.Accepts records and notifies management of guest or employee complaints.Removes individuals from the Casino when directed by the General Manager or Security Management.Makes lawful citizens arrests for violations of the State or Tribal Law.Protection of life and property through patrol and observation of the Spa Resort Hotel & Casino grounds.Crime detection, prevention and suppression through investigation of suspicious circumstances and the elimination of the opportunity to commit crime; apprehension of offenders.The initial investigation and reporting of criminal and non-criminal incidents.Escorts employees and customers to and from their vehicles, if requested.The bicycle detail shall patrol the following areas: Hotel parking lots, Employee parking lot, Casino parking lot, Administrative parking lot, Tribal Office, and Agua Caliente Gaming Commission Offices.May be called for service at off site Tribal properties.
