In order to be considered for this position, you must be an active Catholic and have most if not all of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Theory or a related field is desired.
- Strong vocal skills and ability to direct.
- 3+ years experience working as Choir Director or Pastoral Assistant for Music at another parish.
- Being able to play piano or guitar while singing is desired.
- Ability to play the electric organ.
- Knowledge of liturgical music catalog is required.
- Ability to pass background check and Safe Environment program requirements within 30 days of job offer.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
