FP&A Analyst

Job Position: FP&A Analyst
The position will be part of the Rendr’s Finance team in NYC and will be responsible for supporting the team by analyzing, collecting, reconciling, monitoring, and studying data. Rendr’s finance team provides the support to all the departments, enabling them to make the most informed business and operational decisions as well as informs and advises the decision-making by management. The candidate will use high level analytical and excel skills to monitor and report on trends. Continuously update, monitor, and maintain the financial models. Reconcile the non-fee for service earnings and ensure that the proceeds are received in a timely manner, and none are missed due to unexpected/unresolved issues. Resolve the issues that have been identified to streamline the inflow of proceeds. Liaison with payers, providers and relevant department heads is a big part of a role. Through analyses and reporting, the candidate will be building a successful career as a financial and business professional. The ideal candidate will report to the Financial Analyst and would be detail oriented, highly organized, effective communicator, and can work with team members, as well as independently. Essential Functions:
- Reconcile and process complex in nature transactions
- Manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plans and Modeling tools
- Reconcile and verify bank deposits and payments received from payers
- Maintain constant contacts with the payers
- Maintain monthly forecast processes providing updates and analysis to management
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure follow-up action as and when necessary and provide updates to the management
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities
- Improve personal skill set regarding software proficiency, analysis, and data
- Other related duties as assigned by the area of responsibility
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in the Health Care industry
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, modelling and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members, as well as independently
