Description

Would you like to be a part of a high-performing, analytically driven, best-in-class marketing team? Health-Ade is looking for their next leader of Consumer Insights & Custom Research. This person will lead bespoke research projects to uncover insights that drive business decisions forward, across the #1 fastest growing kombucha brand and the emerging SunSip prebiotic soda brand. This position will report directly to the head of the marketing department and will work across the brand and category insights team to lead thinking and better understand the consumer, the category, and trends at large.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate across Brand, Executive, R&D, Sales, and Category Development team to identify knowledge gaps and research needs, crafting a yearly learning plan to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Manage six-figure custom research budget, identifying methodologies, partners, and vendors to accomplish research needs each year.
  • Create custom research projects to address key business questions across multiple product lines and out-year innovation.
  • Lead organization thinking around current consumer trends, shopping behaviors, and contemporary consumer influences.
  • Leverage digital data platforms (Northbeam, Google Analytics, etc.) to uncover insights around consumer profiles and behavior, as well as creative performance data.
  • Use category and shopper data platforms (SPINS, Numerator, etc.) to inform understanding of existing dynamics within the category and amongst the category’s shoppers.
  • Refine and lead yearly brand health tracker efforts to understand long-term brand progress.
  • Build the research toolkit and methodologies that we will use to lead cross functional initiatives, recommending the research approach that fits within budget and timing.
  • Maintain existing and identify new vendor relationships for custom research.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience working directly with consumer insights and research.
  • Experience working with Qualitative and Quantitative research methodologies.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple sources of information into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
  • Able to present insights with confidence and represent the ‘voice of the consumer’ in meetings with key stakeholders, company executives, and team members.
  • Manage relationships and administrative processes with multiple research suppliers.
  • CPG experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s/MBA preferred.

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in 3rd party consumer research platforms such as Conjoint.ly, etc.
  • Strong analytical thinking and writing skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple research vendors.
  • Proficient with 3rd party data such as IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, Numerator.
  • Strong written, verbal, people, and diplomacy skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective, persuasive presentations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, adherence to timelines and ability to work well in fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets.

COMPENSATION: At Health-Ade, we know our strongest assets are our people, and we recognize our total compensation package is a huge factor in how you are recognized for the impact you have on the company reaching its goals. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $130,000-$150,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, such as market location, level of experience, and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will remain posted until filled.
