Description

The Northbrook Park District is now hiring Bag Drop Attendants to work at Heritage Oaks Golf Club. Spend time outdoors, develop your customer service skills and assist with ensuring the course operates smoothly.

Wage & Shift Information

$14.00 per hour

This is an outdoor, seasonal position that requires approximately 12-24 hours of work per week including weekdays, weekend, evenings and holidays.

Job Responsibilities

  • The position performs set-up and presentation of golf car staging area, bag drop and practice range and coordinates golf car rentals and fleet usage.
  • Maintain the bag drop and golf car areas appearance standards; ensure golf car fleet is clean, fueled and presentable prior to use by guests with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain the presentation of the practice range tee line.
  • Clear the practice range of golf balls using practice range picker; maintain range picker and advise supervisor of any mechanical issues.
  • Maintain range ball inventory levels at the ball machine.
  • Assist with setup for Northbrook Golf Academy clinics and classes and special events, and cleaning and maintenance work as needed.

Qualifications

Must have general knowledge of the game of golf, golf terminology, etiquette, and equipment. Must have an ability to provide positive customer service to all guests. Have a valid Illinois drivers license in order to safety operate a golf car and range picker.
