Account Assistants help coordinate the development of media campaigns/projects as well as provide general support to the account team. They maintain base-level client and internal communications, manage aspects of campaign development, learn Coegi processes and become familiar with standard agency documentation, as well as develop essential skills  in media strategy and planning.

In this role, Account Assistants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cross-departmental teams in executing digital advertising campaigns. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape and approach to strategic media planning, while assisting our client engagement team in the day-to-day tasks of managing client accounts and campaigns within an agency setting.

The Account Assistant will be assigned projects by an Account Manager or Account Supervisor for the accounts they are working on. This is an entry level position within the Client Engagement department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities. (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Manage tasks via Coegi’s project management system to ensure timely deliverables and satisfied clients
  • Attend client meetings and provide clear, actionable recaps
  • Regularly review delivery status and top-level performance of assigned campaigns with the internal team
  • Conduct pre-launch campaign flight & budget checks and post-launch weekly campaign pacing checks

  • Communicate shifts in project timelines with client and internal teams
  • Actively participate in training across multiple platforms
  • Support content development for blogs, case studies, white papers and social media.

Accountabilities

  • Log and track all campaign details; keep up to date with changes and monthly reconciliations
  • Maintain current and accurate time records related to all functions of agency and client work assignments
  • Show consistent excellence in client service and in building a trusting partnership with the client
  • Work in tandem with project management and campaign specialists to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of campaigns
  • Proactively troubleshoot and problem solve; think critically to overcome obstacles
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through skills with internal/external teams
  • Complete assignments and/or agreements within deadlines

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, communication, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret campaign data effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
